Omg! Teenage Boy Rapes And Impregnates Teenage Girl In Lagos

For allegedly raping and impregnating a teenage girl, a Lagos court has slammed a bail of N500, 000 on a teenage boy, a tiler, Fatai Ajisafe. An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court which gave the ruling on Wednesday also granted the accused two sureties in like sum.

The 16-year-old, who lives at Olusesi Street in Agege, a suburb of Lagos, had pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias.

He is facing a charge of rape. The prosecutor, Sgt. Rafael Donny told the court that the offence was committed on June 20 at the apartment of the accused.

According to him, the accused and the girl live in the same neighborhood. “The accused called the girl into his room and raped her and now the girl is two months pregnant,’’ he said.

The offence contravened Section 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused risks life imprisonment on conviction according to the Criminal Law. The magistrate adjourned the case to Oct. 10 for mention.
